Conures are either large parakeets or small parrots. All living conure species are found in Central and South America; They often called the clowns of the parrot world due to their constant attention seeking behavior including hanging upside-down and swaying back and forth or "dancing". Conures are lightly built with long tails and small (but strong) beaks. There are many Sub Species to them. Some of which include- Sun, Jenday, Crimson-bellied, and so on.

They can be very noisy birds, And have a life span of 20 to 30 years.
